As part of a site upgrade, Basecom is involved in strengthening the existing support structure in accordance with the engineer's requirements.
Monopole strengthening
Steel strengthening of existing monopoles often involves fabricating and installing additional rolled steel jackets and vertical steel sections prior to the commencement of additional loads placed on the monopole with telco upgrades.
Tower strengthening
Lattice towers are often strengthened prior to any telco upgrade and the work generally involves additional steel bracing and upgraded back-to-back vertical leg sections.
